Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find permanent homes for Siberian huskies and husky mixes in need, and to create a sanctuary for them in Alberta.

Our focus is to save huskies and huskies mixes who are abandoned, abused, strays, owner relinquished, on death row at kill shelters, or retired/abandoned from tourist dog sledding operations.

We intend to rescue dogs across Canada and from select areas in the United States where there is an excessive crisis overpopulation of neglected and abandoned huskies, especially southern California.

Every dog we take in will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. We will provide medical treatment, training and behavior rehabilitation for dogs as needed.

We also intend to offer husky-savvy education and resources to present and future husky owners.

Huskies are a beautiful but challenging and often misunderstood breed which leads to the abandonment and death of hundreds of huskies every year. We hope to save many of those dogs and place them in forever loving homes.
